What is corundum brick?

Release time: 2025-04-30

Refractory material products with alumina content greater than 90%, mainly corundum as the main crystalline phase

Refractory material products with alumina content greater than 90%, mainly corundum as the main crystalline phase. Very high room temperature compressive strength (up to 340 MPa). High load softening start temperature (greater than 1700 ℃). Excellent chemical stability, with strong resistance to acidic or alkaline slag, metals, and glass melts. Thermal shock resistance is related to its microstructure. Dense products have good corrosion resistance, but poor thermal shock resistance. Corundum bricks are widely used in the lining of various high-temperature kilns and kiln furniture in the petrochemical and fertilizer industries' cracking and conversion furnaces, and the metallurgical industry. Thank you for your adoption.
